We were told by Arlene's that we were on a "short list of best bands at Arlene's in 2009". Not sure what the heck this means, but we're going to try our damnedest to live up to this.

Madpan Productions

Mike and Huy spend Saturday afternoon at Madpan's studios working with our producer to bass for six tunes:

1. Sleeping With the Jones'
2. Homecoming
3. Uneasy Times
4. Every Time I Fall
5. Better Than This
6. I Cannot Stay

So we've recorded drums, guitars, and bass so far. We record vocals next. After that, we mix! Almost there...

Huy spend the last few weekends at Madpan's studios recording guitars for six tunes:

1. Sleeping With the Jones'
2. Homecoming
3. Uneasy Times
4. Every Time I Fall
5. Better Than This
6. I Cannot Stay

It was fun but exhausting doing three 8-9 hour sessions. But totally worth it. These tunes will be the first set of official band releases -- scheduled for later this Spring.

The Bitter End

Join us for our first show of 2010 as we headline The Bitter End on Friday, Janurary 29 at 11pm!

We'll be in our 4th week of resolutions, so we'll be thinner, sleeker, faster, stronger, taller, better, cuter. And we'll be working in some new tunes so come get your rock on. See you there.

Rock the Cause NYC charity show

The band will be playing at the Red Lion. We're part of a line-up that will play to raise money for charity.

- We go on at 8pm
- $5 cover (all goes towards charity)

The charity organization is Rock the Cause NYC, which is a series of benefit concerts that work with independent bands/artists. It fuses live music and philanthropy to make a positive impact in NYC (and worldwide).

All proceeds raised from this upcoming show will go to aid music programs for underpriveledged youth through the All Stars Project and Flaunt Africa Inc.

Duffy and Huy spend the entire day at Madpan's studios working with our new producer to record drums for six tunes:

1. Sleeping With the Jones'
2. Homecoming
3. Uneasy Times
4. Every Time I Fall
5. Better Than This
6. I Cannot Stay (we wanted to re-record drums for this one)

Now that we've recorded drums for these, we'll finish recording vocals, guitars, and bass -- and then work on mixing. These tunes will be the first set of official band releases -- scheduled for later this Fall.

For the first day of Spring, we've got great news! We're ready to get back to work. Our next gig is at Arlene's Grocery on Wed Apr 29. The band will be there starting at 8pm to just chill out. We go on at 9pm sharp and will play till 10pm.
